Presentations will be sorted into tracks to guide attendees and streamline the program. You will be asked to choose an appropriate conference track for your presentation. 

• In Support of Connected Health – Sessions in this track focus on data and language standardization, data sharing, public policy alignment, and shared governance initiatives that support a connected healthcare system.
• Strategies for Patient Equity, Empowerment, and Engagement – Sessions in this track include strategies and projects that address the digital divide and ensure equitable access to digital health technologies and services.
• Digital Solutions for an Evolving Health Workforce – Sessions in this track explore ways in which digital technology can optimize workforce management and help address healthcare human resources challenges.
• Health Data for Decision-making – Sessions in this track address best practices for collecting, analyzing, and securing health data while ensuring privacy and balancing data-sharing priorities.
• Meeting Patients Where They Are – Sessions in this track examine advancements in virtual and remote care technology and program implementation and impacts on healthcare accessibility.
• Digital Innovations for Personalized Care – Sessions in this track focus on the emerging field of digital therapeutics and its potential to revolutionize disease management, treatment adherence, and personalized medicine for improving patient outcomes.

The e-Health Program Committee reserves the right to change tracks.

• Abstracts should highlight the work’s key objectives, focus, activities, and outcomes as outlined in the Abstract Template.
• All presenters should be identified in your abstract submission and should be available to attend the full conference to assist with program scheduling on Monday and Tuesday. There is no virtual component to the abstract presentations, and presenters are expected to be in person.
  

  • If your abstract is an e-Poster presentation, you can enter up to one presenter.
  • If your abstract is an Oral presentation, you can enter up to two presenters. The second presenter is optional.
  • If your abstract is a Panel presentation, you must enter three presenters. The maximum number of presenters for Panel presentations is three.
• To ensure fairness, all abstracts are subject to a blind review. Please ensure to remove ALL identifying information (e.g., project name, institution name or speaker’s name) from the title, summary, and body of the abstract to enable the blind review. The abstract will not be evaluated if the project, institution/company, or speaker’s name is included.
• Presenters and/or organizations are welcome to submit multiple abstracts. Multiple abstracts can be submitted by the same individual.
• Abstract submissions may be saved in draft format and updated at any time before finalizing the submission by choosing ‘Apply’ at the end of the form.

• Organizations are not limited to the number of proposals they wish to submit.
• It is recommended that proposals submitted by consultants or private sector organizations include a provider/user or patient participant as the primary speaker. Any form of commercialism or vendor bias in the proposal is discouraged.
• All presenters should be identified in your abstract submission and should be available to attend the full conference to assist with program scheduling on Monday and Tuesday. There is no virtual component to the abstract presentations, and presenters are expected to be in person.
• Presentation deadlines, guidelines and requirements will be sent to speakers upon acceptance.
• One primary presenter per submission will receive a reduced-fee conference registration. Optional additional presenters pay the full registration fee.
• If your abstract is accepted as a Panel Presentation, reduced-fee conference registration will be extended to a maximum of three panellists. 
• Accepted speakers should not register until receipt of registration instructions. Registration is open to speakers from January 4 to February 28, 2027.
• Speakers are responsible for hotel and travel expenses and are encouraged to make those arrangements after completing registration.
• Registration is non-transferable.
• Please immediately notify e-Health at speakers@e-healthconference.com of any presenter changes made after the abstract has been accepted.

Panel Presentation Panel presentations allow a team of presenters to offer different perspectives on a topic, initiative, or experience in a single session. The panel presentation may include an optional Q&A time within the allotted time.

• Duration is 30 minutes.
• Three presenters are required. The maximum number of presenters is three. 

Oral Presentation Oral presentations allow speakers to focus on a selected topic and share their experience, challenges, and successes. They consist of a discussion/presentation component and an audience engagement component. The duration of each component is at the discretion of the presenter, who may choose to assign appropriate presentation and Q&A time within the allotted time.

• Duration is 20 minutes.
• The maximum number of presenters is two. The second presenter is optional.

e-Poster Presentation e-Posters are a presentation of a project or case study that informs or advises the delegates of key findings or lessons learned. The e-poster presentation may include an optional Q&A time within the allotted time.

• Duration is 10 minutes.
• The maximum number of presenters is one. 

Proposals are blind-reviewed, scored, and selected by the e-Health Program Committee with the support of Volunteer Abstract Reviewers working within their areas of expertise.

We want to hear from anyone working to improve Canadian healthcare! We aim to fill the conference program with a variety of perspectives to provide a rich learning experience. Submissions are sought from digital health professionals, practitioners, frontline care delivery workers, vendors, patients, and caregivers speaking to topics representing, but not limited to:

• Patients and Patient Partners
