What does patient inclusion mean to you?

To be included as an equal at tables with other healthcare partners, leaders, and providers is simply awe-inspiring.

Patient inclusion means that we are all equals and that we all have meaningful contributions to make. At e-Health, for example, patient partners are included at every step of the conference process, from membership to planning committees, to review of abstracts, and attendance as scholarship recipients.

We jointly present abstracts with our healthcare partners and moderate sessions on behalf of conference organizers. We blend in seamlessly with our colleagues across Canada.

e-Health achieves its Patients Included status for good reason!

Christine MacKinnon is a patient partner at e-Health 2021.
