e-Health26 is proud to announce Julielynn Wong, MD, MPH, FACPM as the conference closing plenary speaker! A globally recognized physician-scientist, innovator, and educator, Dr. Wong’s work exemplifies bold thinking intersecting with purposeful technology.
As founder and CEO of 3D4MD, Dr. Wong works at the forefront of digital health, advanced manufacturing, and frontier medicine. Harvard-educated and board certified across public health, preventive medicine, aerospace medicine, occupational medicine, and clinical informatics, she brings a rare combination of clinical expertise and visionary innovation. Dr. Wong has authored more than 35 scientific and technical publications and holds 14 issued patents for medical devices, reflecting her commitment to translating research into real-world impact.

Internationally known as a pioneer in 3D printing, telemedicine, drones, robotics, and digital health, Dr. Wong made history as the first person to 3D print medical supplies on the International Space Station. She also designed a solar-powered, ultra-portable 3D printing system capable of producing essential medical tools in off-grid and resource-limited environments. This technology is transforming access to care in some of the world’s most challenging settings.
A dynamic and captivating speaker, Dr. Wong blends powerful storytelling with a playful, engaging style that inspires audiences to embrace innovation, equity, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is also the founder of Medical Makers, a global initiative that empowers healthcare providers, patients, and innovators to co-create sustainable solutions that save lives, time, and resources. Her work in simulation-based training and globally accessible education supports clinicians worldwide in building skills without traditional barriers.
In her closing plenary session “Applying a Human Rights-Based Approach to AI in Healthcare,” Dr. Wong will explore how trust in AI has been challenged by past failures and data misuse, and what healthcare leaders can do better. Drawing on her work at 3D4MD, she will share how community-informed design and ethical data practices can drive systems-level change, and advance digital health accessibility, sustainability, and scalability to impact over one billion lives. She will also be joined on stage by a special guest, and promises to deliver a unique and delightful surprise for attendees. The closing plenary session is taking place on Tuesday, June 16 | 3:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. ADT.
