Surrounded by the mountains and located on the waterfront at Canada Place in the heart of beautiful downtown Vancouver, the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre is an award-winning facility.

The VCEC opened in July 1987 after originally serving as the Canada Pavilion at the World’s Fair in 1986. Since its inception, the facility has demonstrated a constant commitment to service excellence, technical capabilities and creative, high quality banqueting. It received the prestigious and highly competitive Apex Award for “World’s Best Convention Centre” in 2002 and was also named a finalist in 2004.
