CPHIMS-CA
The Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems – Canada (CPHIMS-CA) credential validates professional competency to respected international and Canadian criteria. CPHIMS-CA signifies that a health informatics (HI) professional has the skills, knowledge and abilities to perform safely and effectively in a broad range of practice settings.
Take this opportunity to write the CPHIMS and Canadian Supplemental (CA) exams in Vancouver during the e-Health 2012 Conference.
Candidates must pass both exams to earn the credential and must meet the following requirements in order to be qualified to write the exams:
- Baccalaureate degree plus five (5) years of associated experience*, including three (3) years in HI; OR
- Graduate degree plus three (3) years of associated experience*, including two (2) years in HI.
*Associated experience includes the following functional areas: administration/management; clinical information systems; e-health; information systems or management engineering.
